New England Area Regional Representatives (NEARR) is a professional organization for admission officers who live and recruit in New England for colleges and universities located outside of New England.

Our Mission

  • Facilitate the promotion of post-secondary opportunities outside of New England
  • Assist high school counselors and independent consultants in educating students about post-secondary opportunities through programming and informal sessions
  • Provide professional development and support for our members
  • Welcome new regional representatives
  • Serve as a resource to colleges and universities considering the creation of a regional representative
